Karen’s class was a pleasure. She was very informative, provided fantastic tips for the meals we cooked along with excellent holistic cooking tips. If you wanted to be more hands-on, she allowed you to be more interactive but if you wanted to watch and learn you could as well. We would highly recommend this for any level cooks, beginners to more advanced cooks. We will definitely be going back in the future and probably bringing more people with us.

What great fun! Karen is really a splendid person, very attentive to her small groups of learners and super knowledgeable about cooking. I really enjoyed learning from her in such an intimate setting (her home!). She selected a chicken dish, a fish dish, a soup, and a couple of side dishes for us to work thru, and was completely open to questions all night long. I’ve taken a couple of dozen cooking classes over the years; at this stage, for me, it’s less about getting my hands on new recipes, and more about learning the tips and tricks to turn an entree into a culinary experience – Karen’s class delivered!!!!!!!

What a great day! Karen is knowledgeable, professional, fun and friendly and immediately makes you feel welcome in her home. The food is amazing and the skills learned will be used for a lifetime. We had a private lesson which was wonderful – lots of time and attention paid to our particular food preferences in a relaxed environment. Karen thinks of everything to make this a memorable learning experience. This is a must-do for all! Thank you again to Karen and Flora for an amazing day we will not forget!

HIDDEN GEM IN NYC!
My girlfriend and I took a class a few weeks ago and absolutely fell in love with Karen! Everything about the class was absolutely perfect! A few days before class my girlfriend called to ask if any consideration could be made as she’s a vegetarian and many of the options seemed to be things she’d pass on. Karen was very accommodating and added an extra item on the menu and prepared hummus in advance!
We loved all the advice that Karen offered throughout the class! Not only did we learn a ton of new cooking tips, but as residents of Manhattan, we were tipped off to where to find the absolute best ingredients all over the city.
At the end of the class, Karen sat us down and went over the recipes and gave us a few extra pointers for each even though our time had already expired. We cannot wait to take more classes for Karen!

“Karen Lee is amazing. She made me and my wife feel so comfortable during our cooking experience. There were about 10 of us in this class and by the time we left I felt like we were all old friends. The food was fresh and fabulous. I finally ventured into the realm of cooking Risotto. Karen stood by me the entire time, while still cooking with others. She’s a whiz!
I learned more in this class than I have in all my years of cooking at home. After our experience, she called the very next day, sent e-mails with more recipes, and then followed up to make sure all that was sent was received. If I could give this class more stars I would.
